Stuart Anstee is internationally recognized as a leader in private sector conservation. He has extensive experience working at both a corporate policy level, as well as developing methodologies and tools for on-the-ground application.
Having worked in the extractives industry for almost 20 years, Stuart has observed that conservation outcomes and community economic development are often inextricably linked. His sophisticated understanding of the benefits of cross-sector collaboration has been developed over many years’ experience working in multi-party forums and initiatives.
Stuart will be presenting one of the case studies in the Business for Development concurrent session in the role of a mine’s General Manager, Environment and Community Affairs.
