Richard Moore is on the Boards of a major Australian NGO (ChildFund Australia); a private sector peak body (International Development Contractors Community); and a multilateral entity (Asia Pacific Leaders’ Malaria Alliance). He runs a Manila-based consultancy firm focused on strategic development planning in South East Asia.
Richard was Deputy Director General for Asia in AusAID from 2007 to 2011. In the 1990s he worked across the defence, foreign affairs and social security portfolios as a ministerial adviser. He writes and presents on development issues, most recently undertaking a five-year, strategic review of the AusAID-DFAT integration. Richard was an instigator of the forthcoming Asia Pacific 4D – A Development, Diplomacy, Defence Dialogue.
