Joy Kyriacou is the Fair Economies Advocacy Manager at Oxfam Australia. Joy leads a team of policy and advocacy experts that seek to ensure human rights are realised in the supply chains and business practices of Australian companies. With a focus on engaging with the global garment and mining industries, as well as across sectors on the issues of tax, governance and human rights, the tram strives to ensure the poorest people benefit fairly from global economic development. Joy’s role with Oxfam follows three years leading aid and development advocacy at the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID), as well as a stint with the Rudd and Gillard governments as an adviser. Joy holds a Masters in International Affairs from the Australian National University.
