Colonel Geanette Seymour retired as a Salvation Army officer after 43 years of active ministry. Geanette’s most recent appointments prior to retirement were as Chief Secretary for the Australia Eastern Territory and as Director of The Salvation Army International Social Justice Commission, based in New York. Geanette is passionate about social justice issues. Being the Director of the Commission accorded her the privilege to stand with those who engage for justice which she found both humbling and energising.
In her retirement she gives ongoing support to Salvation Army Leadership Executive through various volunteer roles and is a member of the now national Salvation Army Australia Governance Board.
