Kristy leads DFAT’s work on impact investing for international development. This includes working with investors, intermediaries and governments to upscale impact investing, particularly in South East Asia and the Pacific. She is currently designing, implementing and advising on a range of initiatives that consolidate public and private finances to help achieve the SDGs.

Prior to joining DFAT, Kristy worked in a variety of government, non-government and private sector roles, in areas of development finance, climate change and policy. Kristy can provide valuable insight regarding the role if impact investing in international development from the perspective of the Australian Government.

Kristy has vast experience in the international impact investing sector and will give delegates an interesting outlook on Australia’s role in financing international development through this mechanism.
