Charles T. Hunt, PhD, is Vice-Chancellor’s Senior Research Fellow and ARC DECRA Fellow at the Social & Global Studies Centre at RMIT University, Melbourne, and an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the Asia Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect at the University of Queensland, Brisbane. He is a chief investigator on two ARC-funded projects examining the evolution of protection of civilians, with a particular focus on UN peace operations.

Dr Hunt is author or editor of six books on issues of peace, conflict and human protection, including Constructing the Responsibility to Protect: Contestation and Consolidation (Routledge, forthcoming).
