Deb joined B4D in 2017, transitioning from a nine-year career working int eh corporate world. The desire to use business for purpose and not just for profit was the catalyst for leaving corporate life. After spending a year working on a startup, Deb cam across Business for Development, whose purpose is to bring enterprise to those living in rural poverty.

B4D takes a systems-level and partnership ecosystem approach to its community development programs, with any one program involving a wide range of stakeholders across the private sector, government, research institutions and NGOs. Deb draws from her consulting experience to deliver outcomes that tackle community development challenges that are of mutual benefit to the private sector and other stakeholders. Her areas of focus encompass business modelling, data analysis and market dynamics.
